Primarily, I fish Lake Erie for walleye and originally, I was going to go with the Tournament Series in the 84 inch length, but my gut told me to buy this 108 inch length instead. I did and am glad for doing so. Reason being, it's a three piece handle instead of two piece and depending on my circumstances, I can adjust the length to my needs, which means if I'm landing a fish off either side of the boat, I can shorten it, but if landing off the transom, I can extend all the way out. At first, I had one major concern and that was that I thought the handle would be flimsy, but true to their adverting, Norsemen Outdoors, Inc. (StowMaster) has done a great job. Even fully extended, the handle is extremely strong and has yet to give out while I was landing a monster walleye. The strength is just one thing I love about it, the other thing is the ability to fold the net, collapse the handle, put the thing into the storage bag that I bought here as well and then stow it completely out of the way until I need it the next time I head out onto the lake. IMO, I don't think you'll find a better landing net out there. Oh yeah, there's one other thing I really like about it . . . the fact that it carries a lifetime warranty! It's nice to know that IF something goes haywire and somehow it breaks on its own, the company will stand behind their product and replace it for me.
