Seiko is a great make and the watch looks very nice but I found the face hard to read easily. I especially use a watch to glance down and see the time when lecturing and I found there was not enough contrast between the gold figures and the white watch face to do this easily. I ended up returning this watch so that I could purchase one with black figures for a better contrast. I am in my 60s so a younger person with stronger eyes may have no problem.
