At 1 x its got the fish eye effect ..distortion Can't use both eyes open (and that's what I got it for) ,very disappointed ! Close one eye and its ok then. The image is slightly fuzzy past 100 yards but not that bad. The Horseshoe Glass Reticule is fantastic! This is the best reticule there is for quick target sighting. It has the same type reticule of scopes that cost thousands of dollars.Controls work good. Appears to be good quality made. Very clear glass, good except a little fuzzy past 100 yards???? It does have a diopter adjustment that helps a bit. It also has elevation and left and right adjustment locks this is a real plus! they are screw locks under adjustments . They are not push & pull type. I have no problem with it above 1.5 X ....its great But........at 1X it sucks a bit.Holds zero on an 6.5 Creedmore AR & on my 6.5 Grendel and my .223 AR. If looking for a 3-gun match scope then...run......run away ...don't waste your hard earned money like I did but........if you need a ok general purpose scope for targets with in a 200 yard range then this its ok ...you get what you pay for....I would only buy another one if it was priced around $75 but I'm not gonna spend another $120 again for another. If it fixed the fish-eye distortion at 1X /same reticule (which is the best thing on this scope) I'd pay $150 to $300 for it. I would give it 5+ stars for etched illuminated reticule 4 for adjustments 5 for quality of feel. 2 stars for 1X distortion. What brought it down from a 5 star rating was only the fish eye effect at the lowest power setting. Settings above 1.5 X I would have given it .... 5 stars
