Pearl Izumi Men's Elite Intercool Tri Suit Review

I've had other tri suits before this one and had seen several competitors wearing Izumi suits during various triathlons I've run. I purchased this as a back up suit and have since made it my primary. It is well-fitting, and the mesh back is breathable, which is quite nice during those hot biking and running courses. This suit also has pockets in the small of the back for gel packs so you don't need a larger race belt with pockets. Those can get annoying. The stitching is solid and the suit has some give when putting it on so you can get your arms in without incident.

This suit is not a compression suit, however, and the saddle padding in the crotch is less than I'm used to. Made for some soreness during the long bike courses, which is why I rated 4/5. I've had suits in the past where the zipper rubs against my chest and causes redness. This suit doesn't present that challenge. It is a thoroughly comfortable suit.
