NcStar 6-24X50 Green Illuminated Rangefinder/AO/30mm/Ring/Green Lens (SM3RAO62450G) Review

I haven't been to the range with it yet. That's what I'll be doing tommorrow, so I will most likely add more to this review after I get back. At this point the scope is super nice! The Elevation and windage knobs feel smooth and the "click" is felt every 1/8 MOA. What it comes down to is it's $72.00, at that price it seems like the rings which are supplied are the only thing you are paying for, so you get the scope for free! There's an extra battery for the lit recticle, two very solid rings which also have the adapters for an inch sized tube. There are lens covers which fit the angled sunshade. It really seems like you can't loose with this scope! I have it on an 16" barrel AR-15, it looks kind of "long", but still cool! It is contoured with the rifle, a kind of stealthy look! Now let's see if it holds zero. I would bet anything that it does! I'll have to add to this tomorrow! I have a really good feeling about this scope! ------------Finally made it to the range! Was really a super windy day, so I can't give a 100% "A-OK" at this point, but with my short experiance with it, I haven't changed my mind. It really is a very nice scope! I had the target out at 200m after I got the scope zeroed. I barely could see the target with a naked eye, but with the scope at 20X I could see every hole punched. As I said it was windy and I really am not familiar with the scope yet, but all in all, it seemed to hold it's zero. I think I played with the adjustments twice, but then again, it was windy and it was coming, or seemed to come from every direction. It was also cold, so I had a difficult time concentrating, -- cold for us here is 45 degrees WAH-WAH huh? With that said, I was putting the next bullet in the hole I just had made, I am not lying, I almost was freaking myself out! So in conclusion, I really can't wait for a 80 degree wind-less day! Oh yeah, what alot of buyers are saying about this scope, that it gets blurry at 24X is true. It really is too bad, because if it didn't have that problem, this scope would be equivelent to a $500-$700 scope.
