First off I'm rating this as a four-star product. When reading this remember that these masks were hand-crafted, so each one will be slightly different. The colors of the mask are much brighter than I had expected from the product pictures. The texture of mask itself is much rougher aswell. Mask colors are a peach, teal-green, and grey mix in an intricate pattern. I had personally expected a larger width of the mask, as the mask, for myself, fits a little snug. But for being hand-crafted it is of a nice structural design. I had also expected a larger depth on the mask, but it still manages to about fit to my ears. The back of your head is protected from stray projectiles by a same material and matching paint pattern protector. Some paint did over-brush in places onto the eye-guards. Please remember that this is a hand-crafted mask. The Pads fit, in my opinion, in a non-comfortable way around the cheeks. But they are very plush. This is a draw-back and a positive, depending on your use for this mask. As the pads are plush, it makes it more comfortable for longer usage. The draw-back to this is that if it is plush it is less shock-absorbent. Meaning if used for protection, you are going to feel more of the impact. The eye-guards are held in by an epoxy resin. This apears to be of a tight hold. I hope so for my sake as I will be using this as a PPE (Personal protective equipment). Overall It is a very nicely made mask, brighter colors than I prefer. But to cure the personal draw-backs I see. I plan on changing the paint to the same pattern but sand tan instead of peach, Foilage-green instead of the teal-green, and grey. As to better suit my uniform colors. Also plan on replacing the plastic buckles with some foilage-green military surplus buckles. Aswell as removing the padding system and replacing with the military helmet padding system. After doing so I believe it will suit my needs quite nicely. But this product is of great design, structural support, and above all... it is hand-crafted. My compliments go out to the manufacturer.
