Coming from a hybrid pant, I'm not sure how to feel about these. Hip/kidney padding is definitely light, however the added mobility is great, especially up front. I play def. In my men's league and these are def light on padding for blocking shots.

Half the weight of my old Reebok 11k's, but half the padding.
