Although too heavy for racing purists, these hubs are the pinnacle of fit, finish, reliability and serviceability - rims will wear out many times over before these hubs will, and even than, all you need to do is change the (easily available) bearings. They're the kind of hubs your grandkids will inherit, after you've circumnavigated the globe a couple of times..(I'm not sure why their finish here is referred to as "chrome", they're not, they're polished aluminum - my guess is that QBP, their distributor, hasn't updated the catalog description since the 80's.)
