The Danner 6" GTX Womens Instigator boots, in brown, are absolutely my new "go to" everyday workboot. I could not be more thrilled with this boot. I work with horses and I am outside daily on slippery uneven ground, in the cold, the rain, the mud... you name it. Take it from me, these boots make all the difference. They support my foot and ankle without being too stiff. They are warm, comfortable, snug, and even give me a little more height :) They are durable and yet not very heavy. I wouldn't go trail running in these bad boys but they are outstanding hiking boots. The color is very stylish and they are not as masculine looking as you might think. I have a size 10 foot and I normally don't like big "chunky" boots because my feet look enormous. But these are not so bad. And for the comfort and warmth factor, I will wear these nonstop in the weeks and months to come.
PS- the price was right! Danner boots are excellent but very, very expensive. You have to shop around and put in a bit of effort to find something that you like that won't break the bank. These boots are the perfect combination of Danner boot excellence and affordability thanks to Amazon's help. They will last a long time. Enjoy your new Danners ladies!
