I was looking for a steel watch with white face as most of my watches (I'm a collector and fancier of watches) have a black face. I also require at least 100m water resistance, as I like to swim in my watches. This Seiko, though it's obviously an older design based on the shape of the hands and dial markers, is a nice addition to my collection for the very affordable price.

Pros: Classy/sporty look--the watch is suitable for both outdoor activities as well as business wear.
Easy to turn clicking bezel for timing dives or other activities
Better than usual luminescence
Long rewinding interval, higher than most automatics in my experience.

Cons: Non-screwdown crown (understandable as this is technically not a diving watch at 100 meter water resistance)
Automatic movement which requires either daily wear or a watch winder
Squared off bezel markers at the 0, 15, 30, 45 marks. While this isn't apparent in tne photos on Amazon, these give
the watch more of a "square" look than it should have. This can be mitigated by turning the dial to other positions.

All in all, this is a great watch for the price. While I'll always prefer my solar watches for convenience (no battery or manual winding), Seiko is one of the most reliable brands around. This watch can be worn in all situations and I expect to own it for a long time.
