You couldn't ask for a better blending of form with function. I got this as a Christmas gift for someone and am also waiting on a custom set from this bladesmith for myself. I'm super picky about my edges so of course I couldn't resist taking this to some fine quality diamond stones to see how well the steel took an edge. I was amazed!! I'm tempted to take it to some of my superfine water stones for my straight razors it was that good. Most blade steels aren't even worth trying this with as it would be a complete waste of time with anything but the best steels properly tempered. And if that wasn't enough it is an absolutely beautiful heirloom quality blade. I can't wait for him to get to my set after this knife showed up.
