At first, I was a little concerned with the shaft as there were markings near the grip which were much too obvious that I thought it might be a counterfeit shaft. I own a couple red matrix ozik shafted clubs and the markings are subtle such that you can only see them by holding them at certain angles to the sun / other light source. I can't be sure whether the look on this shaft is because it's white or because it's a fake. However, in playing with the club, it performs well so it clearly doesn't perform like a fake. Great players hybrid. Smaller head. Most important to me is that it is "bendable" so I sent it back to Adams to make it 1 degree flat. I'm a bit more relieved that they didn't send it back and tell me I bought a counterfeit club so I guess it must be real. The fact that Amazon sold it too me also gives me a bit more confidence too. I guess it just looks funny.
