This is a great mount as you would expect from Trijicon. Peerfect in all respects. The mount, as is, does not work well with an M4 AR-15 upper.

I could not find the following information ANYWHERE. Here goes: for an M4 upper, the 1/2 inch high spacer part is needed to see over the front sight. Specifically, it gives you a bottom 1/3 of the field of view co-witness with an BUIS (iron sight).

The spacer is a necessary part for use with an M4 upper on an AR-15. Sooooo, if you are buying the ARMS 17 TriLock for the Trijicon TriPower...for an AR-15 M4 upper...u need to buy this spacer.
