I have only used this once since purchasing and found it to be worth every penny. I took it on a 3 day rafting trip, where the night temps were in the 20's. Inside the tent it provided excellent insulation and comfort. The third night of the trip the temps were in the low 40's and I slept directly on the ground with the pad and stayed warm and toasty the whole night.
Another person on the trip had a Maravia Silverback which is 1" thicker. The Silverback is a top quality pad and the Aire is no less so, constructed well with a tough PVC material. The reason I mention the Silverback is because I am a heavy guy weighing in at 210 lbs. and when I compared the two pads for comfort there wasn't much of a difference. So I would recommend the Aire over the Silverback if you are less than or equal to 210lbs. If you are larger than this you may find the extra inch of foam beneficial. Because the Aire is $100 less than the Maravia I consider the Aire to be a much greater value. That fact that the landing pad is 30" wide is a definite plus also.

I can see no reason I won't get several years or more out of it, but if the long term quality proves to be poor I will amend my review.
