I only gave it a 4 because it is kind of heavy and big but its a big pad so what are you going to do. I have use dit on the ground and in a hammock. In both cases with a big agnes bag. I found it to be very comfy and more importantly for me kept me warm, especially in the hammock, in 25-30F weather. Based on that I don't think I should have any trouble going to or below my bag's rating of 20F.
