After wearing out my awesome under armor running shoes I went out to look for some other under armors just like the ones I had. Long story short could not find any under armors like those not even that same style. All the new styles were too narrow. Not enough toe support. For me toe support is very important! After spending $200 on several pairs of cheap running shoes. Tired of limping home from foot and shin pain, I then decide to talk to a neighbor that is a personal trainer.She suggested to me I spend at least $100 if not more. Well I sucked it up and came across Pearl Izumi's Iso shifts. After tryng them on I was immeditately in love. Comfort and support.
After having these shoes for 2 months I went to a bike shop that I fequent and bought clip ins for mountain biking. Running in the same shoes for the for the past 3 seasons end of summer fall and through winter yes even snow and they are just now starting to show wear and get holes in them.
Overall these are a sturdy well made shoe. I do run on both sidewalks and road. please know that with these shoes you will need to go up a whole size. I wear a 6 1/2 had to buy a 7 1/2. Also these shoes are light and breath well even during the summer time.
