This is the first nice knife that I have bought. I work as a stock clerk for a grocery store. This easily cuts through plastic pallet wrap. Also the knife will easily cut loose strands on clothing. The knife performs flawlessly when cutting boxes and tape. So far the knife has held up well this last week I've owned it. My knife came pretty darn sharp from the factory, it was able to shave hair and leave a bald patch on my arm. This is great, but I have also cut myself quite a few times. It's been years since I've carried a knife; let alone a knife that is really sharp. The AXIS lock is excellent! It's a lot of fun engaging and disengaging the knife with a flick of the wrist or flick of the thumb to deploy. The clip is study and appears well made. I've seen people complain about the handle feeling cheap...I personally think it feels like a quality, sturdy knife that will easily tear through small tasks. I have yet to really test the capabilities of this knife; however, I am very pleased with my purchase.
