so, these pants are awesome, the only reason I didn't give them 5-stars was their high price of $125. They are well padded in the knees and the side of the hips, but the mesh on them allows them to breathe. Overall, I am very satisfied with these pants. I wear 40x34 jeans, so I ordered the xxl pants and they fit great. They have some straps on the sides that allow a more custom fit and allows me to get fatter and still fit.
