When I saw this putter it just fit my eye, I have been playing with the same Odyssey Mallet #8 putter for years, so I thought it was time for a change and man was this different. The metal insert imparts terrific forward spin on the ball it is almost like you can feel it grab the ball when you strike it. Sound is distinct, not loud or tinny just a good solid sound at impact. I don't like putters that sound like tin cans or are muted out this is just right between like it should be. The dual alignment marks I like also an improvement over the single line on my old putter.
I highly recommend this putter to anyone who likes a face balanced mallet style putter, it just looks good and feels good too.
