These things are UNBELIEVABLE! Not the fastest guy on the planet, but I litterally smoke people with these things on. Huge benefit in strong currents and for conserving energy/lowering SAC rate. I was really surprised how much of a difference these things make. Thought it looked kind of gimicky and I only bought them bc they came so highly recommended, but the bands make a huge difference. Only con is they aren't great for surface swims, I think the down-angle shape makes it tougher to generate power at the surface, but once I drop Im like mutant-Flipper. Spend some time on this decision bc fins make a huge difference in your dive experience. I love this set.
