Mikasa Volleyball Ball Cart (Scarlet) Review
Just got my new Mikasa Square Volleyball cart form Wayfair. It arrived 2 days earlier than the estimated delivery date, so I am extremely happy with Wayfair.
The box was slightly damaged, but it did not affect the product.
I previously purchased a Tachikara square volleyball cart. It was junk, so I returned it. It was unstable, flimsy, cheap and prone to tipping. Plus, the material they use is just crap. I still have a Tachikara hammock style volleyball cart. I have had it for 18 months. It is also prone to tipping, especially since 2 of the casters don't roll very well and never have. It's also cheaply made, but they used better material for the hammock. It takes a while to setup, but I think that is to be expected with hammock style carts.
Now I have this new Mikasa. It's a square aluminum frame, has big casters, the material feels a little like rubber (I hope it's durable), and is spring loaded so it pops open in a second. Plus, the snap strap locks it in place for storage making it easy to store in the carry bag.
This is 10 times better than the Tachikara I just returned. It's extremely stable, easier to setup, rolls better, and has thicker and aluminum framing.
I have heard the Molten's are even better, but Mikasa had the better price. If I have to buy a new one in a year I will certainly post more about this one.
