I've used the Drifter 2 for about a year now on a few different bike tours and am pleased with the quality and features of the 2-person model. I have to note, however, that I almost always use the tent as a single person tent rather than as a two-man so I can't judge the sizing that well. On my bike tours I've been able to fit all of my gear (four panniers plus additional gear strapped on)inside the tent with me at night which makes me think the sizing is pretty good for two people. Whenever I have had two people in it the vestibules on either side have been large enough to pile everything inside. The net that hangs on the top of the tent is great to have, as well as two corner pockets for easier organization. The tallest point of the tent is tall enough to sit upright comfortably which was important to me for using it weeks on end. I can't comment on the weight or packability of the tent since neither aspect mattered to me on my biking trips, but I can definitely say that it has remained waterproof so far (though I use a ground tarp instead of the more expensive footprint).
If you will be mostly using this tent as a one-man but want room to hold two on occasion, I think this is a great tent to go for.
