As an avid runner for now, some forty years, I was first introduced to a Casio sport digital watch in the 70s which was water proof enough to run with. By 1983 I discovered the first G Shock by Casio and at the time being employed as an active street cop in the city of New York had found the timepiece equipment that became my de-rigueur watch. Over the years since I have owned many, many G shock models . Today owning, wearing and using GX, GA, & GR models, I'm now celebrating the 30th anniversary of this ground breaking timepiece with the (as of now Japanese domestic market only model) GD 350. This watch returns to the basic no nonsense G Shock DNA that has made this line of watches legendary, with a large oval case, and large highly readable font LCD display. It is so subtly stylized with fine red and gray accents. The styling is unique to this model and I haven't found another G Shock quite like it. It's outstanding stealthy feature is the vibrate only alert! The Casio engineers have IMO done it right with the GD 350. If you're any kind of G Shock fan this watch is a must have for all your sports; running, swimming, cycling or just casual tough chic. The GD 350 is a watch worthy as a strong contender for the 2013, 30th anniversary commemorative watch for the G shock line.
