Bought this jacket after going to a rainy all day music festival. Was advised it runs a bit small, so I ordered up. I expected it was going to be too baggy, but it fits perfectly due to the tailored nature of the waist. It is extremely lightweight. This made me skeptical, however I have worn it on several rainy days and have yet to encounter any leaks or wet spots on my clothing. I have not tested in total downpour conditions. It is perfect for the summer time. I brought it to a three day music festival and it was compact enough to fit in my bag when not needed without taking too much space. Not sure how it will do in the winter since you would need an extra layer underneath for warmth, and the jacket might be a bit too tight for that. It is now my essential summer item that I bring with me to every outdoor event.
