Based on the shape of the tour proven CG14, the CG16 has a hint of offset and is slightly larger for added forgiveness. Like the CG15, the face features Tour Zip Grooves in combination with our breakthrough Laser Milled surface roughness technology to maximize spin. The back of the wedge features a slight cavity back with an engineered undercut to move the center of gravity low and deep to improve forgiveness. The wider “C” shaped sole has constant width from heel to toe for improved bunker performance. Available in Black Pearl or Satin Chrome finish.

I'm partial to this club because I love the flop shot. This club is perfect for that. If you draw a good lie, and the ball is sitting up, u can absolutely launch the ball into orbit. I've bought Cleveland wedges with the zip grooves before and they really do give u some amazing spin. Full swing a shot from 10 yards away and watch the ball land and just stop. I play without a driver and hit 3 wood 250 to 260 yards off the tee so I get the advantage of an extra wedge in my bag, and in my opinion this is the best choice to fill that extra spot.
