The reel is great. It is very smooth with casts and retrieves. I used it about 5 outings and did great. My 6th outing was not great. While retrieving the line, it seemed the drag was set too low. I adjusted the drag to max. The spool would still not retrieve the line. So I took it apart and couldn't find any damaged parts. It was well lubed, I lubed it again and put it back together. It worked great for 15 more casts and retrieves. Then it happened again. I couldn't retrieve line. I left a messege on Abu Garcias website and they contacted me with information to send it in to a service center. Its on its way to a service center right now, so I still don't know what the issue is with the reel. I still recommend this reel. I must have got a bad apple.
