I was a little concerned when I was got these boots because they didn't have the a lower BOA. The foot area felt a little loose at first. After riding on them for 5 or 6 times I realized that it's not a problem at all! The bindings take care of securing the foot area beautifully. The Boa system is easy to use and I can tighten them through my snow pants without having to pull the pant leg up.

The ankles are snug and provide lots of support. The inner liner fastens securely and is good for a whole day of boarding.

I have said this before and will say it again... Salomon makes great gear.
