Several reviews complained of the small sizing of this coat, but I found it to be right on target. I ordered to wear in Alaska on a cruise in September and the weight feels like it should be perfect-warm but not too hot. I would have rated this 5stars, but will hold off until I actually wear it often. Good quality stitching and zipper. So far so good!

Buck 488 Ergohunter CS Knife Guthook Ring Review

Upon opening the box, the beautiful aroma of leather filled the room. I know some don't like leather sheaths because they can get wet, but really? It is not like I am going to purposedly keep my knife exposed to a down pour or go swimming with it, so for me...it is no big deal. Matter of fact, I love the look, feel, and smell of top grade leather, so this sheath is first class in my opinion. Something you can't say for many knives out in the market that cost >$100.

Now the knife itself...I was in the market for a decent size fixed blade knife that would take care of field dressing, skinning, plus some. The alcryn rubber handle with the knife's rosewood Dymondwood inlays are very comfortable AND a work of ART! I figured that even if this knife were to get wet, I do not see it slipping. The guthook ring was a nice add-on as I don't really care for fixed blades with a guthook. Actually, if you just wanted to purchase the gut hook ring alone, you would have paid around $15 to $20, so this is a nice add-on securely stored in the combo leather sheath with its own secure snap.

The knife came razor sharp as one would expect from a BUCK product and this is one of those knives that should last for generations to come.

Awesome saddle. Especially for the price. There was one problem with this order since the first saddle I received was used (dirty, scratches etc.) At first I thought since the saddle was so cheap that I might have overlooked the word "used" in the description, so I went and double check my order and it said new. Contacted the seller and they did right by it. They sent me a brand new saddle and included a label to ship the old one back. People usually take 1 star when they go through something like this. I do not, there's always a chance of an error, we're just humans. As long as the company recognizes the problem and fixes it in a timely respectful manner, I am ok with it and will order again.
